WR FEEDER: friction feeder for sheets, cards, cases, and coupons
A feeder is a mechanical device which automatically, regularly and continuously feeds/supplies sheet materials (usually but not necessarily paper) for other industrial processes (binding, perforation, folding, lamination etc.).
WR FEEDER is a friction feeder for sheets, cards, cases, and coupons up to a maximum size of 250×300 mm in the 250 version or 400×300 in the 400 version; its powerful stepper motor provides a feed speed up to 70 metres/minute.
The feed selection uses counter-rotating rubber rollers with micro adjustments on both the left and right side, making WR FEEDER extremely flexible for any type of product. The 300-mm high, high-capacity tray with minimum load level monitoring ensures impressive run times.
The system features an LCD display keypad with which users can set all working parameters, such as feed speed, continuous feed or requests for multiple copies, stop delay, print delay and stroke counter; the memory has room for up to 40 different operating settings.
During operation, the machine status can be displayed, including end-of-production warning or stoppage reason, e.g. empty loader or jammed paper.
WIDE RANGE’s feeder can also be equipped with an inkjet marker with HP technology for printing variable data such as date and time, barcodes and text with a maximum height of 12.7 mm, a resolution of 300 dpi.
