Unwinder-Rewinders for self-adhesive labels: WIDE RANGE’s extensive selection
WIDE RANGE offers an extensive selection of unwinder-rewinders – the RWR series – which ranges from unwinder-rewinders for self-adhesive labels to integrated systems composed of an unwinder, printer and rewinder, creating work units which guarantee perfect alignment and long run times.
WIDE RANGE’s RWR series unwinder-rewinders are designed and built for industrial use – made entirely from steel, they are all equipped with large bases providing a stable connection to the printer. An innovative system for tracking the position of the tension assembly allows the printer speed to be followed precisely, preventing problems due to tearing and unwanted stoppages. Clockwise and anti-clockwise unwinding and rewinding is possible with the RWR systems, and the maximum speed range the user wishes to achieve can be selected. WIDE RANGE’s unwinder-rewinders do not require separate power supplies.
With a view to meeting customer requirements for printing large volumes, WIDE RANGE has developed a complete range (RWR BIG) of unwinder-rewinders which allow the use of reels up to 400 mm in diameter and 230 mm in width. Tough mechanical components and a high-powered motor allows reels weighing up to 25 kg to be processed. In this case, too, the devices are designed to connect to all colour printers.
Finally, WIDE RANGE’s integrated work units offer a fast, reliable label production flow: the control electronics are able to detect the position of the tension assembly, inverting the direction of rotation when the printer performs the back feed. Versions are available for all printers on the market, e.g. EPSON, VIP COLOR, PRIMERA, NEURALABEL, AFINIA.
